  1. Go to Google Account Security
  2. Click on "2-Step Verification"
  3. Follow the setup wizard
  4. Choose your verification method (SMS, Authenticator app, etc.)

  1. Ensure 2-Step Verification is enabled
  2. Go to App Passwords
  3. Select app: "Mail"
  4. Select device: "Other" and enter "TechState Outreach"
  5. Copy the 16-character password (spaces optional)

  • SMTP: For sending emails (campaigns, test emails)
  • IMAP: For receiving emails (bounce notifications, replies)
  • You can use the same app password for both
